Dr. David Gurau earned his medical degree (MD) in 2011 from the University of Western Ontario. He completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto in 2016 and completed a two-year fellowship in Gynaecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (GREI) at McMaster University in 2018.

Dr. Gurau is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).

His training and expertise performing newborn circumcision have been recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
