Dr. Joana Dos Santos is the first Medical Urologist in Canada. She is an Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. Dr. Dos Santos is the founder and Director of CIRCLES - circumcision simulation-based training program.
After completing medical school at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, she underwent paediatrics and paediatric nephrology residency training at the Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Dr. Dos Santos is the supervisor for paediatric residency training in Urology and leads the Bladder and Bowel Dysfunction Network, a network of community paediatricians in the GTA (closer to home).
